Wine Tasting Basics

Do you want to learn how to taste wine like Sommeliers do? If so, then join us for Wine Tasting Basics. In this class, you will be taught a four-step approach to wine tasting (See, Sniff, Sip, Sense). You will also be given an introduction of how to identify various wines in a blind tasting.

Cost: $35 per person, wine club members $28 (includes a flight of wine and course materials)

Instructor:  Ilyse Pender, our Wine Club Coordinator, is a Certified Sommelier and Certified Specialist of Wine. She is a graduate of the Sommelier Program at the Professional Culinary Institute in Campbell and is working on her Diploma from the London-based Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Ilyse’s approachable teaching style guarantees that the classes will be educational and fun.
