A fun weekend for the whole family! The Capitola Art & Wine Festival combines Art, Wine, Music...

  • A fun weekend for the whole family! The Capitola Art & Wine Festival combines Art, Wine, Music and Food, all in charming Capitola Village overlooking the beautiful Monterey Bay. Over 160 fine artists and 23 Santa Cruz Mountains wineries will participate in this year’s Festival. A Kid’s Art Area with ongoing craft projects is conveniently located in the center of the Festival on Lawn Way. Enjoy great entertainment all weekend including local dance and performing arts groups, street performers and live music. *New this year…Local Food Artisans Marketplace!

    SATURDAY – Bandstand Stage at Esplanade Park
    Dance:
    11:30AM – 12PM: Aptos Academy of Performing Arts – Home of No Limits
    12:30 – 1PM: Te Hau Nui Dance


    Music:
    2 – 3:30PM: St. Gabriel’s Celestial Brass Band – New Orleans Jazz, Zydeco, Blues Brass Band – Marching down Monterey Avenue to the Esplanade Stage
    5 – 7PM: Extra Large


    SUNDAY – Bandstand Stage at Esplanade Park

    11:30 – 12PM: Santa Cruz Pipes & Drums – Marching in along the Esplanade to Esplanade Park

    3 – 4:30PM:  The Fundamentals – Red Hot Rockin’ Soul

    Enjoy wine tasting from a variety of Santa Cruz Mountain wineries and delicious gourmet food from local restaurants and caterers. Experience fine art and intricate crafts and meet the talented artists whose works you admire. Listen to great music and all the while you’re just steps from the beach. This is truly a weekend in paradise!

    2015 Glass: $8. Tokens: $1 each. Wine tasting: 2 – 4 tokens per tasting.


    NO PET POLICY
    Because of the large volume of human traffic at the Capitola Art & Wine Festival, we ask that you not bring your pets with you.


    PARKING & SHUTTLE SERVICE


    41st Ave Shuttle at Capitola Mall
    Ride the free shuttle from the Capitola Mall (handicap accessible). Take Highway 1 to the 41st Avenue exit, head south on 41st Avenue to the Capitola Mall. Park next to Bank of America and shuttle to the Festival. 41st Avenue shuttle drops off right at the entrance to the Festival at Stockton Avenue and Esplanade. Shuttles run approximately every 20 minutes. Saturday, September 12: 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM and Sunday, September 13: 9:30 AM to 7 PM.


    Beach and Village Parking Lots on Capitola Avenue
    Memorial weekend through mid-September, the City of Capitola offers a free beach shuttle from the Beach and Village Parking Lots located behind City Hall at 420 Capitola Avenue. Parking Lots can be accessed from Capitola Avenue, Bay Avenue and Monterey Avenue. Free shuttle operates 10 AM – 8 PM and drops off in Capitola Village. Parking costs $0.50 an hour with no time limit. The pay stations accept cash, debit cards and credit cards. Meters run from 8 AM to 8 PM.


    FREE Bike Valet Parking  hosted by our volunteers from Harbor High Leadership! Two convenient locations:
    1. David Lyng parking lot at corner of Capitola & Stockton Avenues
    2. Monterey Avenue Festival entrance.
